VNA Health Care Flu Clinics
Find a Flu Shot in Your Neighborhood!
Did you know that getting your flu shot is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from influenza and its complications? VNA Health Care strongly encourages everyone over the age of nine years to attend one of our local flu shot clinics this flu season. For payment and eligibility information, please click here.
Please check this web site as new clinics are added daily. Or you can call our flu shot hotline at 1-877-722-7324.
At this time, the following clinics are offering the seasonal flu vaccine only.
Due to the shortage of the flu vaccine, we are following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and will be administering flu shots to priority groups including home bound, elderly community residents as well as first responders at the following public clinics. Please visit this web site or call our flu shot hotline for rescheduled clinic dates and up-to-the minute information.
There is a $37 fee for flu shots and $57 for pneumonia shots. The following are the only forms of payment accepted this year:
Over 65 years of age: Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage (Health Net / Smart Choice), Aetna Managed Medicare, Anthem Managed Medicare, ConnectiCare Managed Medicare, or CashUnder 65: ConnectiCare, Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield, HealthNet, Aetna, Oxford or Cash
Please note that VNA Health Care cannot give the flu shot to children under the age of 9 years. Also, the Centers for Disease Control suggest that some people check with their doctor before vaccination. This includes anyone with allergies to eggs; anyone with a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome and persons who are ill and have a fever.
