Wethersfield Residents Honored by VNA HealthCare
Two Wethersfield residents were honored by local home health care agency VNA HealthCare. Judy Farinella and Pat Viani were presented with Rose of VNA awards for the many hours they spend helping get mailings out, filing and other jobs necessary to keep the work flowing.
The awards were presented by Ellen Rothberg, President and CEO of VNA HealthCare, at the annual ceremony held at the Elizabeth Park Pond House in Hartford. Susan Wright, Volunteer Coordinator, said, \"They have each told me that their choice to volunteer for VNA HealthCare was made because of first-hand experience with this agency. Their loved ones have been recipients of the care provided by agency nurses and the hospice teams. Both Judy and Pat have said that by volunteering they are able to give back to an organization that really makes a difference in the lives of those it cares for.
Coincidently, their husbands Sal Farinella and Charles Viani are also part of the agency’s volunteer family by delivering Meals on Wheels.
