Pilar Schmidt Appointed Vice-President Development
VNA HealthCare appointed Pilar Schmidt of Avon as Vice-President of Development. Ms. Schmidt will be responsible for leading the philanthropic initiatives for the home health care agency.
She previously was Senior Development and Community Relations Officer at the Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross in Farmington and earlier was Director of Development at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and holds a Master’s degree from Teacher’s College Columbia University.
