Thanksgiving Food Donated by Local Law Firm
HARTFORD, CT –December 1, 2008—Local law firm Levy & Droney donated 20 bags of non–perishable food to patients of VNA HealthCare for the Thanksgiving holiday. “Our patients are so grateful for the special care and donations the law firm employees show to our patients all through the year,” said Cynthia Kuehn, clinical supervisor, Urban team, VNA HealthCare.
For more than a decade, Levy & Droney staff has come up with creative ways to ease the lives of our sick families, explained Deene Morris, Vice-President, Development. “Everything from fans in summer to bed linens to food have made our clients days a more cheerful,” she said.
“We work thorough out the year to provide for local charities,” explained Lisa Tucker of the firm. “VNA HealthCare remains one of our favorites.” “ We like to meet specific needs and we know the nurses will deliver the items to those who need it most,” she said.
