Taste for HOPE A Sold-Out Success

VNA HealthCare held “A Taste for Hope” on November 1 at Cavey’s Restaurant in Manchester raising over $33,000 for its HOPE and Hospice program. 

 

South Side Wines and Spirit Shoppe of Glastonbury arranged the tasting and donated a portion of the proceeds for every wine ordered. Chairman Stacey DiPiazza of Glastonbury praised the planning committee efforts which made the event a success.

Rich Granata of Windsor ran a lively auction which featured superior wines, a personal chef and theater tickets. Proceeds from the sold-out event will benefit family-centered care which affirms life and treats the patient rather than the disease.
