Portland Resident Honored at Annual Meeting
The Martha Wilkinson award was given to Fran Morgan, RN, of Portland at the 108th annual meeting of VNA HealthCare held in Hartford October 22. Morgan is an eight year employee of the agency.
A New Jersey native, Morgan received her nursing degree from Burlington County Community College. She is a clinical assistant supervisor for the Hartford region. Karen Pagliaro, Fran’s previous supervisor, said about her, “Fran is a nurse who possesses integrity, compassion, intelligence and a can-do attitude. She helps to guide her clients back to independence while at the same time providing them with the tools they need to meet their goals.”
The Martha Wilkinson award is named in honor of the agency’s first employee and is given annually to an employee whose patient care is complete, compassionate and makes a difference.
