VNA Recognizes Two with Awards
WATERBURY – Luanne Salcito, R.N. of Waterbury was given the John N. Lewis Leadership Award at the 108th annual meeting of VNA HealthCare held recently. The award is named after the founder of the Waterbury Visiting Nurse Association and it recognizes employees who, by their example, inspire others to fulfill the mission of the agency.
She has been with the agency for 29 years.
Angelica Canar, a home care aide on the Waterbury hospice team, was given the GREAT Employee of the Year award.
She has been with the agency for four years.
